The Weather in Venice...
What to pack? What to wear? What to expect.
The canals make Venice a distinct city, but they also foster Venice's intensely humid weather, in fact typically at percentages of at least ninety. This humidity makes the cold colder and, conversely, the hot way hotter, so be prepared. The summer season can be cruelly uncomfortable and the winter season tends to be accompanied by a cold, biting wind. As for the fall and spring seasons, rubber boots may be helpful to avoid wet feet during the ever-so-common flooding. Otherwise, the temperatures during these seasons are relatively mild.
