The Neighborhoods of Seville...

Where do you want to sleep?

EL CENTRO & EL ARENAL
This is where the bars, bodegas and streets are packed in the summer for the bullfighting happening at the Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza. The east bank has been converted into a the tree-lined promenade Paseo de Cristobel Colon. With views of la Isla de la Cartuja and Triana, it is perfect for romantic strolls.

SANTA CRUZ
The old Jewish quarter is home to the cathedral and the Real Alcazar, a jewel box of Mudejar patios and halls as well as the popular Calle de las Sierpes in the north. The maze of white-washed street, strolling guitarists and flower-decked patios are indeed the backdrop for Cervantes stories.

LA MACARENA
To the north of El Centro, this 'hood is filled with Baroque and Mudéjar churches in beautiful decay. Be sure to visit a few old style tapas bars and sneak a peek at the spiritual life at Convento de Santa Paula.

TRIANA
The sight of Expo '92, this part of old Seville used to be the Gypsy Quarter. The cobble-stoned streets are now the best place in the city for ceramics.
